    Stick it to the Man!

A 2.5d platformer crossed with LucasArt style point and click puzzles and comedy, with a possible bit of influence from Paper Mario as well as a possible nod to The X-Files on the influence of one of the characters.

A great little game at about five or six hours.

While walking home from work, Ray is struck on the head by a top secret military container. This in turns leaves Ray with floating invisible hand out of his head. This hand enables Ray to listen to the thoughts of others and interact with objects and thoughts by turning them into stickers which can then be used to solve puzzles and open up parts of the level. While attempting to evade the clutches of the Man and his secretive organisation.

The platforming is a bit basic and doesn’t extend much beyond being able to use the floating hand to navigate the environment it is functional enough for a small game such as this rather than being the central pillar of the design of the game.

That said however, the limits of the platforming are exposed in the last few chapters as game suddenly requires more precise timing and controls which doesn’t fit with how they have be designed well at all. However as the writing is quite funny, the story and the script does enough it to mitigate the occasionally frustrating platforming.

At only £6 at full price, there isn’t really anything stopping you from playing it as it is a very enjoyable experience.
